Stream2Food: Utilizing Food Industry Side Streams into Nutrient Media for production of Cell-based Products

As part of the public call " Implementation of Research and Development Programmes (TRL 3–6)", DATAPAN has joined a consortium that successfully secured funding for the project "Stream2Food: Valorisation of Food Industry Side Streams for the Development of Nutrient Media for Cell-Based Product Manufacturing."

The programme is positioned within the broader context of innovation in the food sector and addresses the growing demand for sustainable protein sources. Its objective is to develop innovative nutrient media derived from food industry side streams, enabling more sustainable and cost-effective production of cell-based products.
